Meditations

“The success of an intervention depends on the interior condition of the intervenor.”

- Bill O’Brien, former CEO of Hanover Insurance

Awareness practices are crucial for those who are called on to remain responsive in an ever-changing landscape. Cultivating this interior condition takes practice. And practice means: something we do every day in order to strengthen a particular capacity, much like regular exercise routines to strengthen particular muscles.

Here are some resources to train the muscle of attention and tap into our curiosity, compassion, and courage -- so that we can also do so in more challenging times.

Guided Practices

Being in the present moment | by Arawana Hayashi.

Jon Kabat-Zinn shared a powerful practice with us on Waking Up. In this short meditation practice, Jon takes us on a deep dive into our own sources of transformation and healing which live within each of us. Together, we use this awareness practice, focusing on the breath, to support our journey and our individual and collective experience.
