Description

This program is comprised of the recordings of previous live sessions for your personal learning experience at your own pace. You can start today!

  • How do you run effective virtual meetings that connect people not only on a mental level, but also by engaging all our intelligences: head, heart, and hand?
  • How do you design creative online-to-offline learning that allow for transformational change at scale?
  • How can you activate ecosystems across the digital divide?

These recordings integrate the Presencing Institute’s 10+ years of experience in creating effective and transformative online spaces. It allows participants to learn different methods and tools for generative digital engagement; practice creating online work and learning environments for their teams, groups or organizations; and improve their own capability and competence to hold the space for transformational change in contexts that are virtual and disrupted.

The program contains 10 hours of recording and each session is around 1+ hour.

What this program will provide

Session 1: Introduction to Digital Leadership

This first session introduces the foundations of digital leadership in times of disruption, based on tools and practices of Theory U and Otto Scharmer’s work.

Session 2: Facilitating Meetings Online Effectively

This session explores how to design and lead an effective and professional meeting online, allowing for high-quality attention and presence to enable optimal outcomes. Our need to meet and be in conversation has never been more critical. However, most of us are used to meaningful dialogue happening in-person, face-to-face. This track therefore seeks to make explicit the key ingredients required for designing and facilitating successful online meetings.

Session 3: O2O (online-to-offline) | Facilitating Meetings Online Effectively

Increasingly educators and leaders are being called to integrate online learning into their teaching and change work.

  • How can we utilize digital platforms and tools while ensuring generative and empowered engagement?
  • How do we design learning experiences that blend the best of technology with the best of in-person learning?
  • How can we involve people across regions in a collective learning and change process?
In this track we will explore key principles and practices for blended (O2O), whole person (head, heart and hand) learning and change environments for small groups or at scale.
Session 4: Social Arts Online

Social arts provide a practice field for developing new collective leadership capacities. In this session we will explore:

  • How may we develop embodied learning practices in a virtual context that is completely disembodied?
  • How does contemplative social art support your leadership capacity for visioning and connecting with others in a meaningful way, and for innovating in a digital environment?
  • How may we enable everyone to show up and be fully present?
Session 5: Inclusion and Activation Across the Digital Divide

Online gatherings and digital platforms offer the incredible opportunity to widen access to participation in ways previously unimagined. But within this wave of change, there are many people who are excluded by virtue of their limited connectivity, lack of access to data, and by systems and structures of privilege that play out online and offline. Similarly, there are those who can participate, but for whom online platforms are foreign and alienating. In this track we will explore:

  • How do we see and sense the different ways in which societal divides show up on digital platforms?
  • How do we activate the ecosystem across divides to enable transformational change?
  • How do we design policies and build partnerships that allow for inclusion?
Session 6: Global Sensemaking Session

In this final session, we come together to crystallize key learning experiences. We will also spend time on integrating the key principles and practices into our digital leadership toolkit for responding to the challenges we face in our various contexts and lines of work.

Session 7: Best of Office Hours

In this session we have collected many of the questions and answers that were talked about in the two office hour sessions of the course.
