The program is divided into three main components: Underlying Frameworks, which shape decision-making while scribing; Levels of Scribing, which help assess context and change within a conversation or system; and Perspectives, which offer insights from experienced visual practitioners and clients.
You'll have access to all content at once, allowing you to complete modules in any order. Supplementary materials include recommended supplies, readings, and a glossary of key terms.
Led by Kelvy Bird and Marie Pascale Gafinen, this program offers insights from experienced facilitators in visual practice and systems thinking. Faculty guidance and a peer community provide opportunities for discussion, feedback, and deeper learning.
No prior experience with the Levels of Scribing is required, though familiarity with visual practice is helpful. You’ll need a journal or notebook for reflection and drawing tools such as pens, markers, paper, or a digital tablet. It’s also helpful to document your work with a camera or smartphone for tracking progress and sharing insights.
Supplementary readings are provided to support your learning.
Course content is available immediately upon registration, with no time limit for completion. You set your own pace and can revisit materials as needed.
