This MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) run in partnership with MITx is a 6-week program on the foundations of Theory U, a transformative process for transformative change that blends systems thinking, consciousness and wisdom traditions, and civic action. It is a &ldquo;learning by doing" program where you get familiar with Theory U tools, methods, and frameworks and start cultivating your ability to apply them to your life and work.&nbsp;This is an online self-paced course complemented with synchronous live sessions bringing together thousands of change makers from around the world.&nbsp;
u-lab 1x runs every year from September to November. In partnership with MITx.

Ubuntu.Lab is an applied online-offline learning program for change-makers, emerging and established leaders, innovators and every active African citizen, who would like to be part of co-creating the African continent&rsquo;s future.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;Presencing Foundation Program (PFP) &ldquo;Action Confidence in Times of Disruption&rdquo; is a foundational hands-on, 4-day experiential intensive program, offered in a retreat style, with a group of 60-80 other participants. In the Presencing Foundation Program, you will be facilitated through a U-process, learning and/or deepening your understanding of the foundational frameworks, participating in the core methods and tools,&nbsp; and gaining action confidence to actualize the emerging future you want to be a part of. The program is designed to enable you to build connections with others, contribute to the cultivation of a generative social field, and experience the U-process in depth with your cohort.&nbsp;
The PFP is offered both online and in-person, in English. The in-person PFP is offered once each year in Europe or the USA.

Presencing Foundation Program

An intensive in-person and in-nature program, with multi sector leaders and change agents from the same region, to cultivate the kind of leadership needed to face the challenges of our time, activating the deepest sources of knowledge and inspiration for systems change. In this module we will focus on the personal foundations required for ecosystems change. The ELP module 1 is offered only in-person. Each region has admission criteria specific to the regional program.
Either PFP or ELP1 meets the requirement for the ABSC Practitioner Certification. It is not necessary to take both.&nbsp;

A 2-day introduction to Social Presencing Theater (SPT): The Art of Making a True Move where participants can cultivate personal embodied presence through guided practices that include mindfulness, movement and reflection. SPT can provide a strong ground for sensing into ourselves and into our contexts, leading to fresh insights, an ability to prototype creative ways of moving forward, and the courage to extend kindness and compassion to the systems and communities we care so deeply about.&nbsp;

Two Personal Foundation programs are required. Choose between u-lab 1x with Certified Track (or Ubuntu.Lab) and PFP: Presencing Foundation Program (or ELPF: Ecosystem Leadership Program Foundation). Social Presencing Theater Basics: The Art of Making a True Move is mandatory.

Personal Foundation

Engage in a yearlong in-depth training for Social Presencing Theater (SPT) practitioners who have completed a SPT Basics or Presencing Foundation Program and want to deepen, strengthen, and expand the capacity to engage these practices in institutional or community transformation. The yearlong program consists of 3 modules: two in-person and one online.

Deepening

Your SPT Practitioner Certification pathway culminates in a final Action Learning Project of your choice where you will need to apply the methods, tools and space holding capacities learned in programs to your own context. The Certification Workspace provides a framework for you to document your activities and engage in guided reflection on your learning.&nbsp;

You will be guided on the process through your personal, online Certification Workspace. Once you have started your Action Learning Project Portfolio submission have up to 2 years to complete and submit your portfolio. You can only start your Action Learning Project Portfolio submission after all required programs have been completed.
Once you have completed your certification project form, you will submit it for verification. This is the final step of the&nbsp;SPT Practitioner Certification Process. Once your Action Learning Project Portfolio has been verified, you will be issued your Certificate.

Once your Action Learning Project Portfolio is verified, you will receive your Awareness-Based Systems Change Practitioner Certification via email as a downloadable PDF within one week. In the Action Learning Project Portfolio page ("Your project"), you will upload photos or videos of your application experience and share your learning reflections with us. You will be guided through the process on your personal, online portfolio tool. You can only start your Action Learning Project submission after all required programs have been completed. Once you have started, you have up to 2 years to complete and submit your project. 
When you have completed your Action Learning Project Portfolio submission, you will submit it for verification. This is the final step of the SPT Practitioner Certification Process. Projects are reviewed monthly and you will receive and email when yours has been reviewed and verified. Once your Action Learning Project Portfolio has been verified, you will be issued your Certificate.

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">The Certification Project needs to use Theory U as a framework for the project design and incorporates into the project the tools and methods learned throughout the certification pathway.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">The final Action Learning Project needs to be a change initiative focused on one or more acupuncture points: Soil, Food &amp; Climate Justice; Education &amp; Learning; Business &amp; Entrepreneurship; Money &amp; Finance; Data &amp; Technology; Consumption &amp; Planetary Well-Being; Health &amp; Well-Being; Governance &amp; Democracy.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Projects can be co-held and co-facilitated in teams but each person pursuing certification completes their own final Action Learning Project Portfolio providing their unique perspective on the project.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Co-holding and co-facilitating the project means assuming primary responsibility (as a team) for building a robust &ldquo;container&rdquo; or holding space. This includes:&nbsp;

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2">managing the quality of the space, time, energy, and attention in a way that encourages the group to work to its best potential;&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2">co-designing sessions that create conditions for participants to engage in generative listening and dialogue;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2">providing clear framing and directions for the practices; and&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="2">cultivating your own inner condition to operate from the deeper levels of attention and listening in service of the group and project.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Progress is documented by capturing your implementation of the core processes in photo or video and uploading them into your Action Learning Project Portfolio. It is essential you obtain permission from participants to share their image for this purpose. In addition, you provide a written reflection for each part of the process in response to the question provided for that method.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">An integral part of the Action Learning Project submission process is to receive peer feedback. You can do this in a number of ways. To facilitate this process, we make available to you a Projects Gallery for certification participants and alumni where you can share your project and give and receive feedback.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">The final Action Learning Project has to be implemented within two years of beginning to fill-in the portfolio submission.</li>
