Olaf Baldini

Olaf Baldini is a visual recorder with focus on "Generative Scribing", an approach developed by Kelvy Bird. As such, he supports the Presencing Institute in online and offline processes since 2017, when he was invited to prototype "Generative Scribing" in online courses in "Ubuntu Lab – Let's co-create Africa".

Outside of Presencing Institute he has supported transformation processes with his scribing with the UNDP Bosnia/Herzegovina at the "Future Cities Forum", the UC Center for Climate Justice (University of California) during their two-day opening, the "Zuhören" (Listening) Congress, initiated by Sasha Waltz and a two-day "Learning from the bees"-Conference in Berlin as well as other local events around Climate and social change processes.

Olaf's roots are in graphic design which he studied in Vienna before he moved to Berlin in the year 2000, where worked in corporate design, animated web-applications and web design. In 2003 he started his own business in that field. His clients were, among others, europeana (in Den Haag, Netherlands), the local government of Berlin, the state owned housing agencies of Berlin and several event/concert production companies in Germany, Denmark and the UK.

Today Olaf still works as a graphic/web designer and developer and currently supports Presencing Institute with their online platform.
