Emma D. Paine
Emma Dolores Paine works as a consultant with the Presencing Institute. She is PI’s Editorial Coordinator as part of the editorial team, and works as a research associate and Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation officer for PI’s UN and other international organization partnership work.
Emma is a social change researcher interested in economic systems change and power dynamics. She received her MSc from the London School of Economics in Sociology and Human Rights and has worked with large non-profits as well as in direct service in local government and mutual aid groups, on issues of income inequality, social policy, and gender and trauma. She also has a certification in urban regenerative farming and loves all things local economy.
Emma is based in Berkeley, California. For joy she can be found hiking with her herding dog and baking cookies with chocolate and ginger.
